SQUEALER A.D. Parts Ways With Singer GUS CHAMBERS
June 13, 2007Germany's SQUEALER A.D. has issued the following update:
"Because of different reasons, we decided to split up with singer Gus Chambers [ex-GRIP INC.]. We split up on amicable terms and we wish Gus all the best for the future. The shows on this year's Rock Harz Open Air and Summer Breeze festivals will NOT be canceled. We are just rehearsing with a new singer who will kick everyone's ass at the festival shows. Be there!"
Locomotive released SQUEALER A.D.'s latest album, "Confrontation Street", in North America on May 22.
Released in Europe last October via AFM Records, "Confrontation Street" is "the hardest album in the band's history," according to a press release — a directional shift which was planned even before the passing of former former SQUEALER singer Andy "Henner" Allendörfer, who died in a car accident in 2005. Chambers and new drummer Martin Buchwalter (drums) "did an amazing job in the studio and brought lots of ideas and energy to the new material."
